Andrew: It’s just about showtime for our AMA with @heybbt of Bar Gang! GET EXCITED!
Brian Turner: Hello everyone it’s a pleasure to be here.
Sergeant Pepper: Okie dokie, let’s get this thing going! I’m going to go ahead and mute the peanut gallery and get this show on the road! Welcome, Brian!
Brian Turner: Thanks for having me.
Andrew: Wooo! We’re super pumped over here at BSC Times to hear about Bar Gang!
Sergeant Pepper: Absolutely! Looking forward to learning more about your project! I’m going to be hosting this AMA with the help of the magnificent @andrewthedude.
Andrew: A pleasure to be of service
Sergeant Pepper: I’m going to give a quick rundown of how this will work and then we’ll get started! So we’re going to spend 45 minutes or so asking you some questions and learning about Bar Gang. After we go through our questions, I will then open up the chat for a few minutes for everyone to ask questions. I’ll then mute the audience and @heybbt will select questions asked by the participants. The first five that he chooses to answer will each win $20!
Brian Turner: Great, I’m ready. And I apologize in advance for any typos.
Andrew: Bring on the questions and bring on the cash! ???
Sergeant Pepper: Let’s gooooo! So first off, Brian – Why don’t you introduce yourself! Let’s hear about your background and why you decided to create Bar Gang.
Brian Turner: My name is Brian Turner. I have been a serial entrepreneur for the past 15 years. I currently own several businesses and I was introduced to the concept of NFTs about 5mos ago. I’ve invested in a bunch and got a crazy idea that I create something just as good if not better. Plus it corresponds with a 7 year technology company I’ve been building called BOTY, where we are creating a more meaningful, connected bar experience.
I have my bachelor’s in Marketing and MBA in Finance as well.
Sergeant Pepper: Oh wow, that’s awesome! I don’t want to get off course too far, but could you give a quick summary of what BOTY is? I’m intrigued. ?
Andrew: Yooo, you’re not playing around with those credentials! That’s sweet!
Brian Turner: BOTY is a two-part platform sort of like Uber and Airbnb. We have a mobile app for (bar customers) and we have a separate mobile for (bar and restaurant owners). We improve engagement and interactions in bars. I’ve been working on it for 7 years. We were set to relaunch this month but it got pushed back to the beginning of the year to get the NFT launched.
Sergeant Pepper: Killer! I’m excited to check out the relaunch!
Andrew: Freaking love that!
Brian Turner: Thanks.
Sergeant Pepper: So tell us about Bar Gang! What is it, and where did the idea come from?
Brian Turner: Bar Gang is a collection of 10k men human avatars, each is unique. The Collection is an extension of the BOTY brand where we are positioning ourselves in this space in the virtual world. Be mindful the businesses are run separately.
Everyone was creating animal avatars, we wanted to try something different. ?
Sergeant Pepper: Haha, that’s the truthhhh. Is anyone else on your team?
Brian Turner: Yes.
Charles – (The Oracle) He is an experienced senior Blockchain developer with a B.S in Computer Science. Without him this wouldn’t be possible. This guy is a guru.
Sergeant Pepper: Nice! Blockchain devs are in HIGH demand right now.
Brian Turner: Yes they are. I sorta lucked out. I guess all my years of running a tech company has allowed me to make the right connections.
Brian Turner: Hammad – (The Artist) He is an expert graphic designer, animator, and NFT artist. We also have about 5 people managing our Discord and social media channels.
And we have partnered with a company to help with other aspects of marketing.
Sorry not sure why that picture popped up. It’s a lot that goes into creating a collection. I applaud all the creators who have come before me.
Sergeant Pepper: I love these, send my regards to Hammad! He’s a 10/10 on these
Brian Turner: Hammad is my guy and I will do that.
Sergeant Pepper: That’s a solid squad you have backing this project!
Brian Turner: Thank you and the more success we have the more we will grow.
Sergeant Pepper: With so many NFT projects out right now, what else makes this a project worth getting into, aside from a 5-star team?
Brian Turner: Well me, I kid I kid. ?
Brian Turner: We are building a brand for the long haul. Each NFT comes with a membership to an exclusive group of successful investors and professionals.
There will be a ton of members-only utilities that include passive income creation, mobile application game access, and Metaverse development and integrations.
We will not only have benefits in the virtual world but in the real world as well. We will be having events in conjunction with the relaunch of the BOTY brand and Bar Gang holders will have exclusive benefits.
We love the idea of the Metaverse but we love the real world even greater. We want to use our platform to merge the two.
Sergeant Pepper: Absolutely. NFT’s that grant access to real-world experiences are the projects I like the most.
Andrew: Same. I love seeing NFTs mesh the real world and metaverse togehter. Plus, when you throw in cool art and bars, I’m all in!
Sergeant Pepper: What are some of the unique traits/attributes that Bar Gang has? Any super rare ones? Any alpha you can drop? ?
Brian Turner: Great question. We made them relatable to the everyday bar goer.
The collection is broken down into 7 main categories including background, head, eyes, clothes, mouth, skin tone, and accessories.
The skin tone is my fave because we show regular-looking people and alien-looking people. But like I always say, at the bar everyone is welcome.
There are over 215 hand-drawn traits with some obviously being rarer than others.
In addition, we have 15 rare ones that are all hand-drawn and have little to no elements in common with the regular collection. They are motivated by some of your most beloved male characters in film and entertainment.
Sergeant Pepper: THAT IS SO SICK!
Brian Turner: Not sure this will make the final cut but this is potentially a rare one.
Sergeant Pepper: Those ones will definitely be in high demand
Brian Turner: Thanks.
Sergeant Pepper: So they’re all men, right? Any plans for Bar Gang ladies down the road?
Brian Turner: Of course. Who wants to go to a bar with all men? We have already started designing the 10k female collection.
Who knows we may eventually create a Bar Gang babies. Lol, I also like what some collections are doing with the mutations and stuff like that. That may be in the cards as well. But it all must fit in with the brand as we don’t want to dilute the product.
A lot is riding on the success of the first drop. Once again I thank you all again for having me on to discuss.
Sergeant Pepper: OHHHHHH YESSS! Breeding. Bar Gang Babies is brilliant. Absolutely man! We’re excited about this project!
Brian Turner: Thank you.
Sergeant Pepper: I’m gonna ask a couple more questions then we’ll open things up to the public for questions!
Brian Turner: Sounds good.
Sergeant Pepper: When’s the sale? How much will they be and where can they be purchased? Any presale or whitelisting?
Brian Turner: Presale: 12/23 0.065 ETH – Public: 12/24 0.085 ETH
This date may get pushed back. A lot has to go right over the next few days. I was being really ambitious trying to launch before Christmas so we’ll see.
I was gonna share this later. But as a token of my appreciation, we are offering a whitelist spot to the first 25 people to complete this form: https://t.co/E7F0ehdPQS.
Sergeant Pepper: GO SIGN UP!
Andrew: Freaking love it. GO GO GO!
Sergeant Pepper: brb

Sergeant Pepper: Just a reminder, we’ll unmute everyone for a few minutes before muting again and letting you answer 5 questions!
Brian Turner: Sounds good.
Community Questions
J. Marin: A Curious question …. Will I be able to create an “Avatar” in BARGANG that identifies me? That is, is it possible for community members to participate in an avatar design event and that we can create something that identifies us? it would be great…
Brian Turner: This is definitely a possibility. Would love for you to join our Discord and suggest this. There is a lot of customizing we can do.
Sergeant Pepper: 1 more minute to get your questions in!
Cintya 48048524: What’s your main focus right now, are you focused on the community or market/Exchange or the products?
Brian Turner: I’m totally focused on building a strong community. I’ve studied a lot of projects and community is everything. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the deep pockets to build it up like some projects but we’ll get there.
❤️ LoLi ❤️: What major partnerships do you plan to use or how do you get your product out to the average consumer – especially those who don’t use crypto?
Brian Turner: We are trying to partner with World of Women. We’ve been exchanging emails but nothing has surfaced yet. But if you look at our collection and there’s, we look great together.
Dent Zardots: Apart from the strength of your team which in my opinion consists of great people, but Revenue is very important also for the growth and progress of the project. So, how do you generate profits/money to keep your project going, and what is your revenue model? How can this provide a win-win situation for all stakeholders (users, investors and projects)?
Brian Turner: A lot of it goes hand in hand with the BOTY brand. We already have a ton of relationships with bars and restaurants in the miami/ft lauderdale area. This month we were scheduled to host our launch event with one of the biggest restaurant groups in so fL. Launching Bar Gang only is going to make the brand stronger.
I can answer more of these questions offline.
Lào Thủ: Currently, technology is changing every second, Are you afraid in the future your project will lag behind new projects with newer technology? Do you have a plan for this?
Brian Turner: Nope. My team is really strong and I am always recruiting new talent. My 7yrs building a tech company has prepared me for this.
Andrew: Nice! So many awesome questions! Thanks to our amazing community for sending those in. Brian, nice work answering those. You’re killing it!
I do have one last community question for you from our online submissions. Then, you can hang around as long as you’d like and chat with the community. Totally up to you!
Here’s one of the random questions pulled from our online submission:
@CryptoLuck11: Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who haven’t yet entered the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space?
Brian Turner: Great question. I think the majority of my effort has been to attract non-crypto investors. I’ve been doing Zoom calls and I’ve been spending a lot of my time helping people set up a crypto wallet. Lol. Some may say that’s a mistake, but my goal is to educate and bring new people into the space. No offense to anyone having success in crypto but it shouldn’t just be the rich getting richer. There is a lot of opportunities for us all to make it. So hopefully I get more opportunities like this to raise that awareness.
Sergeant Pepper: “I’ve been doing Zoom calls and I’ve been spending a lot of my time helping people set up a crypto wallet.”
NOT an easy task lolll
Andrew: Love that! 100%. It’s so cool to see how you’re blending it all together!
Sergeant Pepper: Well @heybbt, I want to thank you for taking the time to fill us in on Bar Gang! I’m looking forward to the launch!
I’m going to unmute the gang now, but feel free to stick around and chat with them or answer any more questions that you didn’t get a chance to hit earlier!
Before I do that though, anything else you’d like to mention or let us know?
Brian Turner: Just ask everyone to pls join the Discord and follow us on Twitter. We are really trying to do something positive and bring new people into the space.
I thank you two gentlemen for the amazing opportunity. Thanks again.
Andrew: Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to jump in here and chat about Bar Gang. It sounds super cool and I know our community was super excited to hear about it!
