It’s SO good to have you all here and we’re stoked to be cruising into another Quarter.

Q1 delivered nothing but the finest; crypto never ceases to keep us all on our toes and the events of the past 3 months have certainly been entertaining. Innovation, macro, community, insights, changes, setbacks and growth — we’ve expired the full spectrum of stimuli and have come out the other end better for it. The perfect recipe for evolution.

As we step into the next cycle of the season we take with us all that we have learned from the past and a renewed sense of vision and purpose. DeFi is BOOMIN and we’re determined to leave our mark.

The BEETS game is strong and we’re ready for another round.

In synchronous style, let’s jump into the Concerto Programme for this week. FRESH!

It’s too late anyway — we’re too far gone to stop this madness. Might as well embrace the journey.

The Devs have been working away at maintaining the code that runs it’s all. A lot of energy has been put into front end development over the past couple of weeks to improve UX and make sure all the flows are as crispy as can be. Furthermore, they have been digging into the gauge vote contracts to make way for potential in-house integrations. Pretty darned exciting.

If you were present at the Town Hall last week then you’ll be aware that we have also been working pretty closely with Balancer Labs geniuses. As the saying goes, 2 heads are better than 1 and this is most certainly the case. From Backend developments to exciting pool type explorations there is plenty in the pipeline and we’ll share this all soon.

Boosted pools are still in the works and there is a little something cooking in the kitchen for Optimism.

We’ve stepped into Q2 and so we feel like it’s important to give you all a little bit of an update from the marketing team.

Much of the focus has been put towards driving the educational content for user in terms of quality and accessibility (docs, threads, articles) while at the same time pushing for share-ability and user engagement (Twitter, unBEETables). Over the next quarter our plan is to make improvements to the foundations we have set forth and work towards scaling the types of content we produce as well bolster community engagement.

Metrics are obviously an important aspect to how well we are growing and we plan to start sharing more data driven insights in the monthly Town Halls.

Beyond BEETs the marketing team has also been working closely with Balancer as part of our service provider agreement. For this we have been involved in building out a developer focused landing page, content support for social media as well time towards a couple of projects that currently lie under the hood.

Overall it’s been an exciting time with a whole bunch of learning. The rest of the quarter looks set to be packed with even more juiciness and we’re doing our best to make sure we’re covering it all with the finesse you all deserve.

Renowned community member and esteemed Guide Tone — S0meone has put forward a compelling case to join the Music Directors (MDs) and take a step deeper into the madhouse we call BEETS.

“I would like to become a Music Director in order to further contribute to the success of our protocol and DAO. Another wave of the bi-weekly Gauge Vote has been completed and the results are in!

On the topic of the Gauge, we are aware that some users have been having some issues with bounty rewards in regards to the delegation platform Votehoven.

We are currently in communication with their team and as soon as we have more information regarding the issue and next steps we’ll be sure to reach out to the community.

In the meantime hang in there, we’re working on it.

Just a quick update from the mad hatters in the Social Science Lab. If you were following along then you will have been super excited for the commencement of a new study: Social Bonding in the City of OP.

Unfortunately due to some unforeseen technicalities the start of the study had to be postponed as the team tried to iron out some of the details. Painstaking, we know but all a part of a greater plan.

Josey and her motley crew haven’t given up the fight and are determined to enlighten the new era of degens in the subtle arts of DeSci. In fact, as it stands they will be cracking ahead with some of the preliminary interviews and data collection methods as we look into other avenues of funding.

DeFi Re-Imagineerd is the latest project to pop out of the BEETS music making machine. A jivebox box of creators, innovators, down right degens and fellow music makers, DeFi Re-Imagineerd will serve as a medium to showcase our partners, their vision, and some of the glorious benefits behind Balancer tech. Future-focused and driven, this series will highlight some of the brightest builders who dream of a fairer, more inclusive, open and honest decentralised financial system.

We’ll be kicking the series off with the renowned Rocket Pool on April 11th at 10AM UTC. Taking place shortly before the highly anticipated ETH Shanghai update and Rocket Pools Atlas upgrade, it’ll be sure to be packed full of alpha.
